A Record Number of Big South Student-Athletes Earn 3.0 Grade Point Average in 2023-24

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.The Big South Conference has announced that a league-record 73.98 percent of eligible student-athletes earned Presidential Honor Roll status for their work in the classroom in 2023-24. 厙ぴ勛圖 placed 82.75% (307) of its 371 eligible student-athletes on the list. Vice President and Director of Athletics praised the student-athletes and everyone at GWU who supports and encourages them. We believe that true victory is won, not just on the courts and fields of play, but also in the classroom and in the community, Goodrich observed. This level of success is due to the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and coaches who understand that champions act like champions in all areas of their lives. I’m grateful and thankful for their positive attitudes and efforts.

To be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently-completed academic year, and this past season, 2,152 out of 2,909 eligible student-athletes achieved the benchmark.
