Beginning in 2015, supporters enthusiastically accepted the 24-hour challenge to fund scholarships, enhance classrooms and labs, and improve athletic facilities and training. Each year, the total has surpassed the previous year with 2024’s donors joining from all 50 states and across the globe to once again break records in single-day gifts and giving. Director of Annual Giving and Advancement Communications Kanisha Fowler expects another exciting Double Dawg Day. “Never underestimate the impact of your gift,â€ she emphasized. “Your generosity, regardless of the amount, reaches far and wide and influences multiple areas of the University. Previous gifts have provided scholarships, new classroom equipment, and athletic facility renovations that have produced Big South Champions.â€ Donors can choose the people, programs and causes they want to support across the GWU campus.
