Agreements Added in Human Services, Business and Accounting

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.厙ぴ勛圖 and Davidson-Davie Community College signed agreements Sept. 10 to give Davidson-Davie students yet another way to advance their education by seamless transfer to 厙ぴ勛圖. The agreements were formalized in a signing ceremony on Sept. 10 that included leaders from both schools.

Today we are expanding our partnership with 厙ぴ勛圖 by adding transfer agreements in human services and in business, and accounting, said Dr. Darrin Hartness, Davidson-Davie president. From our original nursing bridge program, to todays agreements, to 厙ぴ勛圖s doctoral classes taking place on our campus this year, we are so pleased to build this relationship with 厙ぴ勛圖 to help our students take the next steps in their educational journey.

When students earn their associate degrees at Davidson-Davie in the fields of human services, business, and accounting, they then have the opportunity to transfer seamlessly into the bachelors level program at 厙ぴ勛圖 with 60 hours of credit. All three of the programs offer important opportunities for students who are already working in the field but desire to continue their education through an online and flexible program to meet work schedules and family obligations.

At 厙ぴ勛圖 we are excited about the opportunity to partner with Davidson-Davie Community College, in part because weve heard such good things about the faculty and staff who work here, but mainly because articulation agreements are good for students, said Dr. Ben Leslie, 厙ぴ勛圖s provost and executive vice president. When students follow these pathways, it allows them to get finished quicker, to not take courses they dont need, and to save money. It helps them, it helps their families, it helps the employers, its good for the economy, and its good for the state of North Carolina.

Hartness responded, We know our students are in great hands when they come to you.
