More than anything, I want Christ to shine through in everything I doin my leadership of the Operations staff, in interactions with students, staff, and faculty, and in partnerships with vendors and contractors, Speer shared. I want to be both a quarterback and cheerleader for our Operations team. I want the Operations employees to be recognized for the vital positions they hold. They are an amazing team of individuals, and I want to help them experience joy and purpose in the work they do here at GWU.

He continued, While there is much to learn, I ask the Lord for wisdom on how to lead like Christ in this new position. My heart is what Paul shared with the Colossians, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.  You are serving the Lord Christ.
